Sailing through the coasts of Cilento
On board of a “gozzo” (typical local wood ship), you can see the splendid coasts of Cilento, its beaches, and the marine caves of Palinuro. During the sail you could plunge into the clear water of the Marine Reserve “Baia degli Infreschi”, followed by a picnic to taste the delicacies of our land, seated on the white beach of “Mercellino”. You’ll have time to listen to live music entertainment, a quick swim, and still manage a prompt return to Palinuro to conclude the excursion in the evening.

Equipment: Bathing suit, light wear, towel, sandals, snorkeling gear.

Recreational fishing tourism
Departing at night with local fisherman aboard typical fishing boats you will spent a few hours immerged in the nocturnal sea ambiance. Menaica Anchovies fishing is the result of an important city tradition since ancient times, especially in Pisciotta, a city that developed the menaica net, which allows for selective anchovies fishing. Once cleaned in water sea, they are packed in wooden boxes, to be grilled in the beach to conclude that adventurous night.

Best period: April to September.
Duration: 5 hours.
Equipment: Light wear, poncho, sandals or boat shoes, and towel.
